Chloe and Kevin try to enjoy a spontaneous lunch date. Later, they agree that their marriage is in a rut. While telling Paul that he moved out to save his marriage, Michael is informed that Fen hasn't been to school in two days. Michael goes home and finds the deck of cards and the note that Carmine gave to Lauren. Lauren and Carmine enjoy some time away in Lake Geneva. Lauren eventually takes off, leaving an apology not for Carmine. Gus is well enough to leave the hospital, but he still won't discuss Rose with Leslie.
