Sheriff Higgins of Dry Gulch, calls Gene and PAt in for help, due to the fact that he might lose his badge, having to eal with a gang of outlaws and a gambler. While Gene listens to Higgins, Pat tells his tall tales to two boys outside. After hearing Pat's story, two outlaws kidnap Pat, with Gene on their trail. Gene is captured too, and the two are taken to Snap Larkin, who believes Pat knows where an outlaw buried money he stole in bank robberies. Gene tells him one of his men hit Pat in the head with the butt-end of a pistol, and now Pat fakes amnesia. Snap offers the two to stay with them until Pat ""recovers"". While alone, Gene and Pat continue to plan an escape. Eventually, when the outlaws are unsuspecting, Gene rounds them up and bring them in, destroying the gambler's scheme of taking over Cartersville. (thetvdb.com)
