Pat enters a chariot race at a local fair that's in town. Confident that Pat will win, Gene places a bet, using the budget of an old school that's funding for a new building. There's dirty playing as the champion chariotist sabatoges Pat's chariot. This doesn't go unnoticed by Gene, and insists that Pat trade chariots.
