Casey is shocked when he finds Alex lying on the kitchen floor. Vanessa is afraid of working with Alex. When the paramedics arrive Michael discovers that Alex has Stage 4 cancer and he tells Casey to go with his mother. When they leave Michael is not pleased that Casey found out the truth in this way.
