Standing on the ledge, about to jump, Annie confesses to Gregory that she fell in love with him. She goes on to say that her discovery that he doesn't love her gave her no reason to go on living. Gregory protests that he really does care about her. She responds that if he cared about her he wouldn't have made her go through everything she went through to marry him. He says it was fascinating to watch her; she's one of the most exciting women he's ever known. Annie says that if Gregory really cares about her, he'll tear up the prenuptial agreement.
