Rhomann Dey and the Nova Corps catch up to the Guardians of the Galaxy at the time when they are pursuing J'son and the stolen Nova Centurian Helmet. Nova escapes and manages to make it back to Earth. Then he is attacked at his school by J'son, who discovered that he can't remove the helmet from Sam due to it being tied to his DNA. Following the Guardians of the Galaxy and Nova's fight with J'son at Sam's school, Sam finds that J'son knows where he lives and finds J'son confronting his mother and little sister Kaylen posing as a police officer.
