With Ninoy behind bars, Cory became the father and mother of their five kids and at the same time became the source of inspiration and strength to her husband who experienced solitary confinement in Fort Bonifacio and Fort Magsaysay. But after three years, Ninoy went back to the Philippines to pursue his dream of Philippine freedom while Cory and their children agreed to follow Ninoy after two weeks.
