Manson discovers that his wife, Philippa, was aware that her father was staying in London, and accuses her of throwing the court case to get suspected pimp Gavin Sullivan set free as a favour for him. Masters and Sim discover that Sullivan has an incriminating tape of Pearson having sex with an underage boy, and that Pearson is frantically trying to retrieve it – but a confrontation between Pearson and Sullivan ends in tragedy. Meanwhile, Hunter and Nixon deal with the disappearance of a young estate agent, who failed to turn up to work the night after splitting up from his girlfriend.
