Dr. Rossi escorts Rachel to the police station where Elliot glares at her without an ounce of forgiveness. Rossi reminds him that Rachel is sick, and she did return Matthew without harm, but Elliot isn't swayed. Steven and Rossi interview Rachel, who tells them the story of how she found the bracelet. She confuses this event with the death of her parents in a fire. Rossi realizes that as a child, Rachel accidentally started the fire that took the lives of her mother and father.
