Angela spends a night in the cells and is interviewed the next morning. She maintains her innocence and tries to convince the police that the Morgan family were responsible for Tommy's death, but the police aren't fooled. They tell Angela that a witness can confirm that she was at the garage on the night of Tommy's death - and this witness is herself! Angela's hairs were present in Tommy's blood, and Angela is shocked. Meanwhile, Hayley feels that she has to tell the police about the letter and confesses everything.
